United Way of Greater Charlotte – “The Longest Table”
The United Way of Greater Charlotte hosted its inaugural Longest Table event at Truist Field, uniting community leaders, neighbors, and partners to celebrate connection and collaboration across the city.
Building on my previous aerial work with the Charlotte Knights’ Light the Knights festival, I was commissioned to produce a full event recap video that captured the energy and purpose of this new tradition. Over five months, I developed the proposal, creative direction, storyboards, and production plan—leading the project from concept to final delivery and adapting on-site when weather conditions moved the event indoors.
Working alongside a skilled team of two videographers and an audio specialist, we captured more than two hours of footage to create a dynamic three-minute film that highlights the spirit of unity that defines the Charlotte community. My role included directing and filming all interviews, editing and motion design, and operating as an FAA Part 107–certified pilot under advanced waivers for operations over people, moving vehicles, and Class B airspace.
