I captured architectural photography and promotional video of the columbarium and memorial garden at Myers Memorial United Methodist Church for Carolina Bomanite.
Field package
Carolina Bomanite was preparing the Myers Memorial Columbarium Garden for submission to the American Society of Concrete Contractors’ International Project Awards. With a tight submission timeline, John and his team needed professional photography and video that could clearly showcase the craftsmanship, custom finishes, and technical details that made the project stand out.
I worked closely with John over two site visits to capture the garden at its best. The coverage combined architectural photography, detailed imagery, aerial perspectives, and video to document both the overall design and the finer elements of the concrete work. Particular attention was given to the custom exposed finishes, contrasting paving bands, precision detailing, and the way the concrete integrates with the stonework, landscaping, and columbarium.
The final photography and video gave Carolina Bomanite a polished visual package for its award submission and a strong set of assets for future marketing. The project went on to earn First Place in Cast-in-Place / Special Finishes, Under 5,000 SF at the 2024 Decorative Concrete Council Awards, recognizing the craftsmanship and attention to detail behind the finished space.
