Project description
Produced a comprehensive *In The Field* episode documenting the Laurel Ridge Levee Extension and Control Structures project in Ascension Parish, Louisiana. Working on location with McKim & Creed’s technical staff, I captured interviews, ground-based video production, project photography, and aerial cinematography to tell the story behind the massive flood protection project.
The visual coverage showcased the scale of the 4.5-mile levee extension, its control structures, and the engineering behind a system designed to protect approximately 8,500 structures within the Amite River floodplain. Combining technical insight from the project team with ground and aerial perspectives helped translate a complex infrastructure project into an engaging visual story while highlighting both the people behind the work and its impact on the surrounding community.
